HODGEPODGE SHAWL CAL ALERT

Who's ready for another CAL? After the amazing response from my Stitch Sampler Throw CAL last year, I've decided it's time to do another one!

Let me tell, you this pattern has been through some major testing and thanks to my amazing Super Hero Tester Team it's finally ready for your hooks.

Each section of this Crochet-Along will be released every few days with the first installment set to begin on April 6th, 2022.

GET READY:

- Grab your yarn! This pattern was created to use up all my leftover stock building yarn from the fall/winter craft show season. I did end up using some new skeins for the final few rows, but the rest was just scraps. Feel free to use whatever you like.

Here's what you'll need to get started:

I used Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek yarns(approx. 1,015 yds) however you can use whatever you have. Just try to keep to the same brand & type throughout

J Hook, I use strictly Boye brand hooks so this pattern was written with a 5.75 mm

Scissors

Needle

Large Button(optional closure)

In this design you will find a bunch of my different stitch designs that have already been released and a few that are still in the works. I highly recommend you brush up on a few things such as the Front Bottom Loop location and how to work a Spike Stitch.

Here are the basic stitch abbreviations used in this pattern:

Abbreviations(US Terms):

SK = Skip

sts = Stitches

ST = Stitch

SL= Slip Stitch

CH = Chain

SC = Single Crochet

HDC = Half Double Crochet

DC = Double Crochet

TC = Treble Crochet

BLO = Back Loop Only

FLO = Front Loop Only

FBL = Front Bottom Loop

FP = Front Post

BP = Back Post

You will also find Special Stitches and the instructions for how to work them as needed.
