One of my very first stitch pattern creations was the Elevated Granny Stitch. It gets it's name from the fact that it's just a fancy, "Elevated" if you will, variation on the well known granny stitch we all know so well. Somehow I missed creating a washcloth with the stitch, even after designing tons of other things with it, so it had to be done!

Introducing the Elevated Granny Washcloth, the perfect textured washcloth to add a touch of elegance to your bathroom or kitchen. Finished washcloth with this pattern & yardage should measure approx. 6.5” square, but the multiples needed to adapt my Elevated Granny stitch pattern are also included in the PDF so you can create any size you wish with the purchase of the pattern.
Here's what you'll need to get started.......
