Christmas Pickle Crochet Pattern

Add a Christmas Pickle to your tree this year and add a fun holiday tradition to your family! We've been hiding a pickle in our tree for almost 20 years now and the excitement hasn't faded in all those years.
Here's what you'll need to get started.......
Materials:
Premier Basix Chenille Brights Super Bulky in Emerald (approx. 12 yds)
H(5 mm) Hook
Scissors
Needle
Poly-Fil Stuffing
Abbreviations(US Terms):
MR = Magic Ring
sts = Stitches
ST = Stitch
SL= Slip Stitch
CH = Chain
SC = Single Crochet
INC = place 2 sts in one ST
DEC = Invisible SC the next 2 sts together

NOTES: This pattern is worked in a continuous round. Your finished plush should measure approx. 4” tall depending on your tension and yarn choice.
To begin create a MR.
Round 1: place 6 SC in your MR
ROUND 2: (SC, INC) 3 times (9)
ROUND 3: (SC 2, INC) 3 times (12)
ROUNDS 4-6: SC 12 (36 total)
ROUND 7: DEC, SC 3, INC 2, SC 3, DEC (12)
ROUNDS 8 & 9: SC 12 (24 total)
ROUND 10: (SC 2, DEC) 3 times (9)

Stop here and stuff your pickle.
ROUND 11: SC, DEC 4 (5), SL to your first SC
Cut leaving a bit of a tail & tie off. Using your needle weave in and out of the FLO around and pull to cinch tight and close your remaining hole. Tie off and hide your tail inside. Use any hanger you like to attach your Christmas Pickle Poem card and you're done.
