Car Coaster Crochet Pattern

This new project is thanks to my amazing daughter, for suggesting these handy little helpers to my husband, and to my whopping yarn stash! One of the great things about being frugal, you need it, you make it!

This car cup holder coaster crochet pattern adds both functionality and flair to your car’s interior, making every drive a little more delightful. Here's what you'll need to get started.......

Materials:

Lily Sugar n' Cream 100% Cotton Yarn in 2 colors(approx. 8 yds total)

G(Boye 4.25 mm) Hook

Scissors

Needle

Abbreviations(US Terms):

ST = Stitch

SL= Slip Stitch

CH = Chain

DC = Double Crochet

MR = Magic Ring

NOTES: Finished coaster should measure 3” across. Any worsted weight 100% cotton should work for all of these patterns. Feel free to adjust your hook size to get the correct measurement. Most car cup holders are about 3” so anything between 2.5”-3” is perfect.

Make 2:

To begin create a MR,

ROUND 1: CH 2(does not count as a ST), place 16 DC in your MR, SL to your beginning DC to connect

ROUND 2: Change Color: REPEAT [CH 3, place (2DC, CH 3, SL) in the next ST, SL in the next ST] 8 times.

Cut, tie off & weave in your ends.
