Stitch Sampler 1 C.A.L. WEEK 4

From this point on you will just be working back through the stitch designs with different colors each time through. I will be working through the first repeat with you the next 2 weeks to get you started. This week I will give the instructions for stitch designs 1-3 with the correct colors for your 2nd time through.

#1 NESTLE STITCH

Change yarn to 2-CB,

REPEATS NEW ROW 1: CH 1(Does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the first ST & in each ST across(149)(ONLY use this row for repeats 2-5)

ROW 2: CH 2(counts as your first DC) & turn, SK the next ST *(DC, CH 1, DC), SK 2, repeat from * across until you have 2 sts left, SK the next to the last ST, DC in the last ST

ROW 3: CH 3(counts as a DC/CH1) & turn, *working only in the CH 1 SP between the DC sts, place a 3DC Cluster, CH 2, repeat from * across until your last CH SP, place a 3DC Cluster in the CH SP, CH 1, DC in the last ST

ROW 4: CH 2(counts as your first DC) & turn, *working in the top of the cluster only, place(DC, CH 1, DC), repeat from * across, DC in the last ST

ROW 5: REPEAT ROW 3: CH 3(counts as a DC/CH1) & turn, *working only in the CH 1 SP between the DC sts, place a 3DC Cluster, CH 2, repeat from * across until your last CH SP, place a 3DC Cluster in the CH SP, CH 1, DC in the last ST

ROW 6: REPEAT ROW 4: CH 2(counts as your first DC) & turn, *working in the top of the cluster only, place (DC, CH 1, DC), repeat from * across, DC in the last ST

ROW 7: CH1(does not count as a st) & turn, SC in the same ST & in each ST & CH SP across(149)

#2 VICTORIA STITCH

Change yarn to 2-CC,

ROW 8: CH 1(does not count as a ST & turn), HDC in the first ST, repeat (HDC BLO in the next ST, HDC FLO in the next ST) across ending with a HDC BLO in the next to the last ST and an HDC in the last ST(149)

ROW 9: CH 1(does not count as a ST & turn), HDC in the first ST, repeat (HDC FLO in the next ST, HDC BLO in the next ST) across ending with a HDC FLO in the next to the last ST and an HDC in the last ST(149)

ROW 10: REPEAT ROW 8

ROW 11: REPEAT ROW 9

#3 TWISTY STITCH

Change yarn to 2-CD,

ROW 12: CH 2(counts as your first DC) & turn, DC in each ST across(149)

ROW 13: CH 2(counts as your first DC) & turn,*SK next 2 sts, FPTC around the third, CH 1, FPTC around the first skipped ST, DC in the next 3 sts, Repeat * across ending with just a DC in the last ST(instead of the next 3)(149)

ROW 14: CH 2(counts as your first DC) & turn, *SK first TC and place 3 DC in the CH space, SK second TC, DC in the next 3 sts, Repeat * across ending with a DC in the last ST(149)

ROW 15: CH 2(counts as your first DC) & turn, *DC in the next 3 sts, SK next 2 sts, FPTC around the third, CH 1, FPTC around the first skipped ST, Repeat * across ending with a DC in the last 4 sts(149)

ROW 16: CH 2(counts as your first DC) & turn, *DC in the next 3 sts,

SK first TC and place 3 DC in the CH space, SK second TC, Repeat * across ending with a DC in the last ST(149)
