This super cute star shaped snowflake ornament is perfect for using up those yarn scraps to create something new this holiday season.

Here's what you'll need to get started....
Materials:
Red Heart Super Saver White Yarn(12 yds)
F(Boye 3.75 mm) Hook
Scissors
Needle
Abbreviations(US Terms):
SK = Skip
sts = Stitches
ST = Stitch
SL= Slip Stitch
SP = Space
CH = Chain
SC = Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
TC = Treble Crochet
Picot = Chain the required amount and then SL back into the top of the last ST
NOTES: Finished ornament should measure approximately 4.5” wide depending on your yarn of choice and tension. Photos are located on the last page.
To begin CH 5 & SL to your beginning CH to connect & create a loop.
ROUND 1: CH 3(counts as a DC), place 2 additional DC in the loop & CH 2, repeat(3DC, CH 2) 4 times, SL to the top of your beginning CH 3 to connect
ROUND 2: TURN, working in the CH 2 spaces, repeat(2 SC, CH 5) 5 times, SL to your beginning SC to connect
ROUND 3: TURN, repeat(in the CH 5 SP = SC/HDC/CH 3 Picot/DC/TC/CH 5 Picot/DC, HDC/CH 3 Picot/SC, SL in the next 2 SC sts) 5 times, SL to your beginning SC to connect, cut, tie off and weave in your ends.
Attach any hanger you like to one of the CH 5 Picot loops.
