Little Purse Charm Crochet Pattern

This cute little charm is perfect for adding a functional personal touch to your water bottle handle, purse, bookbag, or anything else you like. Keep the things you need quick, like a few dollars, lipstick, or ear buds, in this handy little pouch and avoid the hunt.

Finished purse with this yarn and hook size will measure approx. 5” wide by 3” tall, but feel free to use any WW4/Aran/10PLY yarn you have on hand. 




Here's what you'll need to get started.......


Materials:

Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek yarn(approx. 45 yds)

H(5 mm) Hook

Scissors

Needle

3/4” Button

Optional: Ball Bead Keychain, Pom-Pom


Abbreviations(US Terms):

SK = Skip

sts = Stitches

ST = Stitch

SL= Slip Stitch

CH = Chain

SC = Single Crochet

DC = Double Crochet*

DEC = Decrease: worked 2 sts together into one ST

*this is a spiked stitch. Work over the chain as if it doesn't exist and go into the skipped stitch in the row below the one you are working in.

SEAMING:

Flip your piece over so that the wrong side is up & fold the starting chain up to meet row 20.

Attach a new piece of yarn to the fold(bottom),

SC both sides together 10 sts along the row ends up to row 20, CH 25,

SC 9 more sts back down to the fold.

Cut, tie off & weave in all of your ends. Line up your button hole and sew on your button accordingly. Add the Ball Bead Keychain & Pom-Pom to the chain strap.
