Daisy Magnet Crochet Pattern

These super cute little magnets are easy to make and are perfect for a little gift or craft show stock. You could even use them to make cute hair clips, attach them to a bag, or string a bunch together and create a garland for spring.
Finished daisy should be approximately 3” wide including the leaf. Feel Free to use up your scrap yarn to make these, any WW4/Aran/10 ply yarn should work fine.
Here's what you'll need to get started.......
Materials:
Red Heart Super Saver Yarns in 3 colors (approx. 20 yds total)
H(5 mm) Hook
Scissors
Needle
Magnet
Abbreviations(US Terms):
sts = Stitches
ST = Stitch
SL= Slip Stitch
MR = Magic Ring
CH = Chain
SC = Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
DC = Double Crochet

Center:
To begin create a MR with your 1st color.
Step 1: place 10 SC in your magic ring, SL to your first SC to connect, cut & tie off.
Petals:
Attach your 2nd color to any SC on your first center.
(CH 3, place 2 HDC in the 2nd CH from your hook, SC in the next CH, SL to the next Center SC) 10 times, SL in the same ST. Cut, tie off & weave in your ends.
Leaf:
CH 8 with your 3rd color.
SL in the 2nd CH from your hook, working with one ST in each CH across starting in the next CH (SC, HDC, DC, HDC, SC, SL),
Rotate to work along the bottom of your starting CH, SC in the NEXT CH, HDC & DC in the next CH,
CH 2 & turn, SC, HDC, SC, cut & tie off. Tie your tails together and weave one tail into the leaf. Use the other tail to attach your leaf to the back of your center sts about 3 sts.
Attach a magnet to the back of your daisy and you're done!
