Gnome Puff CAL Part 4

If you didn't already grab your supplies, here's what you will need to get started......

Materials:

Red Heart Super Saver Yarns(approx. 105 yds total)

H(5 mm) Hook & G(4.25 mm) Hook(for leaves)

Scissors

Needle

20mm Wooden Bead

Fiber Fill Stuffing

Optional: Bell, Jute twine, Beads, other accessories

Abbreviations(US Terms):

SK = Skip

sts = Stitches

ST = Stitch

SL= Slip Stitch

CH = Chain

SC = Single Crochet

SC 2 TOG = SC the next 2 sts together

For this part we will be creating the back body panel. This is the same as the front without stopping to add all the features to it.

To begin CH 13 with Aran(or any tan color),

ROW 1: SC in the 2^nd CH from your hook and in the next 11 chains(12)

ROW 2: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the 1^st ST, place 2 SC in the next ST, SC in the next 8 sts, 2 SC in the next ST, SC in the last ST(14)

ROW 3: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the 1^st ST, place 2 SC in the next ST, SC in the next 10 sts, 2 SC in the next ST, SC in the last ST(16)

ROW 4: CC to Red(leave a long red tail to use for seaming), CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in each ST across(16)

ROW 5: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the 1^st ST, place 2 SC in the next ST, SC in the next 12 sts, 2 SC in the next ST, SC in the last ST(18)

ROW 6: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the 1^st ST, place 2 SC in the next ST, SC in the next 14 sts, 2 SC in the next ST, SC in the last ST(20)

ROWS 7-18: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in each ST across(20)

ROW 19: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SK the first ST, SC 17, SC the last 2 sts together(18)

ROWS 20-23: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in each ST across(18)

ROW 24: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the first ST, SC 2 TOG, SC 12, SC 2 TOG, SC in the last ST(16)

ROW 25: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in each ST across(16)

ROW 26: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the first ST, SC 2 TOG, SC 10, SC 2 TOG, SC in the last ST(14)
