Gnome Puff CAL Part 3

If you didn't already grab your supplies, here's what you will need to get started......

Materials:

Red Heart Super Saver Yarns(approx. 105 yds total)

H(5 mm) Hook & G(4.25 mm) Hook(for leaves)

Scissors

Needle

20mm Wooden Bead

Fiber Fill Stuffing

Optional: Bell, Jute twine, Beads, other accessories

Abbreviations(US Terms):

SK = Skip

sts = Stitches

ST = Stitch

SL= Slip Stitch

CH = Chain

SC = Single Crochet

SC 2 TOG = SC the next 2 sts together

For this part we will finish up the front body panel while adding the front features.

ROW 21: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, lay your beard on top of your front body panel, SC 18 sts working through both the beard(end of the rows) and the body panel(along row 20) to seam them together(18)

ROWS 22: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, lay your front body panel on top of your hat brim so that your brim starting CH lines up with the sts on ROW 21, SC 18 sts working through both the hat brim starting chain and the body panel(along row 21) to seam them together(18)

ROW 23: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in each ST across(18)

ROW 24: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the first ST, SC 2 TOG, SC 12, SC 2 TOG, SC in the last ST(16)

ROW 25: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in each ST across(16)

ROW 26: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the first ST, SC 2 TOG, SC 10, SC 2 TOG, SC in the last ST(14)

ROW 27: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in each ST across(14)

ROW 28: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the first ST, SC 2 TOG, SC 8, SC 2 TOG, SC in the last ST(12)

ROW 29: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in each ST across(12)

ROW 30: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the first ST, SC 2 TOG, SC 6, SC 2 TOG, SC in the last ST(10)

ROW 31: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in each ST across(10)

ROW 32: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the first ST, SC 2 TOG, SC 4, SC 2 TOG, SC in the last ST(8)

ROW 33: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in each ST across(8)

ROW 34: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the first ST, SC 2 TOG, SC 2, SC in the last ST(6)

ROW 35: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in each ST across(6)

ROW 36: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC in the first ST, SC 2 TOG twice, SC in the last ST(4)

ROW 37: CH 1(does not count as a ST) & turn, SC 2 TOG twice(2), cut leaving an extra long tail to use for seaming & tie off.
